Lori Harbeck began her recruiting career in January 1990, at an agency in Schaumburg, IL, where she was tasked with building a Pharmaceutical & Medical Device Executive & Sales recruiting desk. Her dedication and ability to deliver top-tier talent quickly propelled her to the ranks of top producers nationwide. Lori's reputation for excellence earned her a loyal client base, thanks to her commitment to providing the exceptional talent that drives business growth.
In October 1993, Lori founded Harbeck Associates, Inc., with a clear vision: to establish exclusive, retained, long-term partnerships grounded in mutual respect, trust, communication, integrity, and teamwork. Over the years, Lori expanded the firm’s expertise to include diagnostics and biotech, creating a comprehensive recruitment service dedicated to Executive & Sales roles within the healthcare industry nationwide.

Bill Baracani became a key member of Harbeck Associates in January 1999. Before joining our team, Bill enjoyed a successful career in pharmaceutical sales with Roche Laboratories and medical sales with Clinical Systems and Stryker Endoscopy. His extensive industry experience and sales expertise have been instrumental in expanding Harbeck Associates, helping us achieve our mission of building strong, lasting partnerships with our clients.
