"I retained Lori Harbeck and Harbeck Associates in January with a goal of hiring our first nine sales representatives to start in May. We were seeking experienced cardiovascularsales professionals in nine targeted states across the country. As of last week, all nine territories have been filled with a start date of May 11. The selected candidates have an average of 12 years of medical sales experience with 8 years calling on cardiologists and are each multiple award winners with their former companies. Lori and team did outstanding work throughout the process. She spent time up front understanding our needs and preparing to present the opportunity to candidates. We initially interviewed approximately 60 candidates in 11 cities during a five week period in February and March. The candidates were of high quality and met the criteria that we originally outlined. Prior to these interviews, Lori handled all of the communication and logistics with the candidates. They came well informed regarding the opportunity and without exception had a genuine interest. Many candidates commented on Lori’s professional communication and level of knowledge relative to other recruiters with whom they had interacted. Following each set of first round interviews, Lori handled communication with the candidates and helped us to arrange second round interviews in March and then a final round interview visit in April. We made a few adjustments in target cities during the process, and Lori was very accommodating to find additional candidates. I was very pleased with Lori’s work. She met all of my expectations based on the positive references I received prior to hiring her. She is extremely organized and diligent, has a high level of commitment to provide outstanding service, communicated with me and with candidates very well, presented high quality candidates that fit our profile, provided excellent advice throughout the process, and was enjoyable to work with.
